NFL star Puka Nacua says he's got a date with Sydney Sweeney after publicly flirting with actress
Puka Nacua has bizarrely joked he's got a skydiving date with Sydney Sweeney this week as he continues to make a play for the Hollywood actress.
Last week, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver publicly declared he wanted to go on a date with Sweeney in response to an interview she gave while promoting her new line of lingerie.
In the sit down with Cosmopolitan to promote her latest business move, she opened up about what she looks for in a man.
'Athletic and outgoing and funny,' she said. 'I'm a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me.
'And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man… oh, wow, when you print that, you won't hear the inflection in my voice.'
The comments went viral and caught the eye of Nacua, who retweeted Sweeney's comments and added: 'Love skydiving'.

Now he's gone a step further by telling a reporter he's got plans with Sweeney, who was seen holding hands with music mogul Scooter Braun in recent days.
In the interview Nacua was asked whether he would go skydiving with a number of people, including LeBron James and Shohei Ohtani before Sweeney's name came up.
Nacua replied: 'Yeah, Sydney Sweeney. I have reservations for us on Wednesday actually.' He then quickly suggested it wasn't true in an awkward moment.
The 24-year-old is believed to be single at present but has a baby boy with his ex-girlfriend Hallie Aiono, who was born in October.
Nacua was involved in some legal drama when Aiono launched a petition to determine that her baby was the NFL star's, but they seemed to put that behind them by the time he was born.
Nacua was pictured alongside Aiono in hospital when she gave birth and said on Instagram he was 'proud' of Aiono for bringing his son into the world.
But the Rams wide receiver wasn't the only NFL player making his move in public.
The Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis retweeted the same quotes from the Hollywood actress and wrote: 'I can probly add skydiving to my bucket list'.
