NFL star Puka Nacua shoots his shot with Sydney Sweeney after she launches lingerie line
NFL and Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua is trying to make another big catch, this time with Sydney Sweeney.
The actress has been in the news this week for launching her own line of lingerie and in an interview with Cosmopolitan to promote her latest business move, she opened up about what she looks for in a man.
'Athletic and outgoing and funny,' she said. 'I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me.
'And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man… oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice.'
The comments went viral and caught the eye of Nacua, who up to now has been licking his wounds since the Rams lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the game to make the Super Bowl.
Nacua retweeted Sweeney's comments and added: 'Love skydiving'.

The 24-year-old Nacua is one of the most talented wide recievers in the NFL
The 24-year-old Nacua is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and has shot to stardom in the sporting world after being drafted by the Rams in 2023.
He is believed to be single at present but has a baby boy with his ex-girlfriend Hallie Aiono, who was born in October.
Nacua was involved in some legal drama when Aiono launched a petition to determine that her baby was the NFL star's, but they seemed to put that behind them by the time he was born.
Nacua was pictured alongside Aiono in hospital when she gave birth and said on Instagram he was 'proud' of Aiono for bringing his son into the world.
But the Rams wide receiver isn't the only NFL player making his move in public.
The Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis retweeted the same quotes from the Hollywood actress and wrote: 'I can probly add skydiving to my bucket list'.
It is unclear, however, if Sweeney is single at present. She has been pictured repeatedly with music mogul Scooter Braun but didn't name him directly in her Cosmo interview.
'Sometimes I’ll think that I can do a normal thing and have a date in a normal way, and then it gets perceived in a very non-normal way,' she said.
'But it’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all.'
