Walk-on music is set to be introduced to the PGA Tour for the first time at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in Louisiana later this month.
The two-man team competition will see players greeted by a song of their choosing as they approach the first tee box.
Each pairing will have an opportunity to select a song to be played as they are introduced for the final two rounds of play on April 28 and April 29 at TPC Louisiana.
New Masters champion Patrick Reed will play in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans
'We are continuously looking for fun and innovative ways for our players to connect with fans,' said Tyler Dennis, chief of operations at the PGA Tour.
'Given the team format and the location being New Orleans, I can't think of a better event to introduce this on the PGA Tour.'
Already committed to playing in this year's tournament are new Masters champion Patrick Reed, Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Bubba Watson, Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson.

Cameron Smith and Jonas Blixt are the reigning champions of the PGA Tour's sole team event
Walk-on music, heavily featured in combat sports as well as darts, has been used during selective events on the European Tour in recent years.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the only team tournament on the PGA Tour, features two rounds each of foursome and four-ball competition.
Cameron Smith and Jonas Blixt won with a birdie on the fourth hole of sudden death last year against Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown, winning the Tour's first official team event since 1981.
