The field at Royal Birkdale head out on day one hoping to produce their best in their bid to win The Open Championship, with some players using the Major as a chance to show off the best their wardrobe has to offer.
Justin Thomas and John Daly were two such players to take the chance to dress to impress during the first round at the Southport course.
Thomas revealed his look for the entire tournament, including rounds three and four which require him to make the cut to even play in, prior to the tournament on Twitter, with his first outfit unusually including a tie.

John Daly took to the course wearing wacky trousers and a logo supporting President Trump
His outfits for the latter stages at the tournament are a little more conventional, as he teams pink, purple and white polo shirts with a pair of plain golf trousers.
When tweeting a picture of his wardrobe for the week, Thomas wrote: '@ralphlauren has outdone themselves this week! Loving the classic Open look with the tie and cardigan on Thursday.'
There was nothing plain about Daly's look, though, with the larger than life American once again opting for a pair of extravagant trousers.
Jason Dufner wore a woolly hat for his round bit only opted for a short-sleeved shirt

He featured nearly every colour on the spectrum on his lower half, with the trousers teamed with a back jumper featuring support for president Donald Trump.
Daly and his family recently visited president Trump, who is a passionate golfer, owns a number of courses and has his own range of clothing available to purchase, in the Oval Office at the White House, where he wore his trademark Hawaiian shirt.
Jason Dufner was another to catch the eye on the first morning, as he started his round wearing both a short-sleeved shirt and a woolly hat.
Australian Jason Day also caught the eye with his choice of footwear, as he wore white Air Force Ones which had been adapted into golf shoes.
