Davies gets Ginn tonic

Laura Davies shot a second

successive 66 to share the halfway

lead at the Ginn Open at the

Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida.

England’s former world No 1 has

20 LPGA Tour wins in America but

the last was almost six years ago.

Davies, 43, stood on 12 under par,

tied with Mexico’s Lorena Ochoa.

She said: "I’ve been playing solid

golf all season but this week I’ve

managed to hole a few more putts.

It’s early days and I would be a

mug to say I’m going to go out and

win on Sunday. I know I’m going to

be nervous."
