Burton O'Brien went on a lightning break to score the winner and Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws was pleased with his side for coming back from a goal behind.
Laws admitted he had no
complaints with Plymouth's opener,
a 47th-minute penalty converted by
top scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.
Akpo Sodje levelled after 52
minutes before O'Brien's run for the winner four minutes later. Laws said:
"It's the perfect boost before we go to
West Bromwich on Tuesday."
Argyle boss Ian Holloway said: 'We
were much the better team, 16 shots
at goal to their six.
"Unfortunately we have missed the
target 12 times — which isn't good
enough, is it?"
