Norwich not in for Riordan

Norwich have cooled their interest in Celtic striker Derek Riordan - because manager Peter Grant can't figure out what position he plays.
The Carrow Road outfit were linked with a swoop for the former Hibs star earlier this week but, while admitting his admiration for the 24-year-old, the Norwich boss confirmed he won't table an offer.
Grant said: "Derek is a top-quality player. In fact, he is probably the best finisher at Celtic, but the problem is what position does he play?
"I don't really know if he is a striker, a second striker or if he's best wide of a three. He is a player I like, but the structure in my team is the reason I won't be going in for him."
Riordan, who netted the Hoops' stunning equaliser in their pre-season clash with Chicago Fire on Sunday, has two years left to run on his current Parkhead deal.
