Spurs return for Nene

Spurs are set to renew their interest, first kindled in January, in Brazilian winger Nene after his agent has indicated he would welcome a move to England.
Spurs previously made a bid for the left sided Celta Vigo winger during the January transfer window without success, but after his agent's comments, the north London club are likely to renew their interest as they look to resolve their well documented left-sided problems.

Antonio Cardozo, agent to Nene, told the Sunday Mirror: "We expect a deal to be done before the start of the season."

Spurs are not alone in their admiration of Nene and could face competition from fellow Premiership clubs, Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham.
