Wolves have been given permission to talk to Scunthorpe striker Billy Sharp after making a £2m bid for the in-demand marksman.
Sharp, 21, spoke to Norwich City last week. He will have talks with Sheffield Wednesday, managed by his former boss at Scunthorpe Brian Laws, and is also due to speak to Sheffield United — who are due a 25percent sell-on fee from Scunthorpe as they sold him in the first place.
A move to Molineux would reunite Sharp with his former Scunthorpe strike partner, Andy Keogh, who joined Wolves for £600,000 in January.
