Michael Ballack has told Bayern Munich he will make a decision regarding his future "in the next four to six weeks".
The Germany international confirmed he is still not sure what he will do, increasing fears he will leave Munich when his contract expires.
Manchester United are leading the chase for the Germany captain, and are reported to have already made a concrete offer to the 29-year-old, while Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan are also believed to be interested in signing the midfielder on a free transfer in the summer.
However, the 29-year-old remains an integral part of the Bavarian side and played as they overcame Juventus 2-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
After the game, Ballack admitted to Sat.1 television that he does have several good offers, although he claimed that money alone will not influence his decision.
"I'm still very undecided and it's difficult when there is such a good chance of staying here," he said.
"Bayern is a team very close to my heart."
The Bavarian club are believed to be pulling out all the stops to convince Ballack to stay, with an unprecedented sum of money on the table should he decide to prolong his career with the Bundesliga giants.
