Wolves boss Jackett hopes to lure Northern Irishman Paterson to Molineux on a free
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is planning talks with free agent striker Martin Paterson about a switch to Molineux.
The Northern Ireland forward, 26, spent last season at Burnley but has failed to agree a new deal.
Wigan may also show interest. New manager Owen Coyle is also keen to take Manchester United's Nick Powell on loan.

Sheffield Wednesday are close to signing Croatian striker Ivan Krstanovic, 30, from Dinamo Zagreb. They are also keen on free agent Kevin Davies.
Bolton are trying to sign 6ft 5ins American goalkeeper Charlie Horton before he signs for Tottenham.
The 19-year-old has been invited to pre-season training at Tottenham but Dougie Freedman is willing to offer Horton a chance to challenge Adam Bogdan for a first team place.
