England's cricket stars tried their hand at another sport as they gear up for this week's crunch third Test against South Africa.
Their pre-match football games are well renowned but it was on the golf course that Joe Root and his side showcased their all-round sporting ability on Monday.
Taking part in the Professional Cricketers' Association Golf Day at The Grove in Watford, Root was joined by his vice-captain Ben Stokes on the course.

Wicketkeeper-batsman and Sportsmail columnist Jonny Bairstow looked to be enjoying himself, as did veteran pace bowler James Anderson.
And Root had his two predecessors present as Alastair Cook, still in the side as an opener, was joined by Andrew Strauss, now England's director of cricket.
Strauss will be hoping the downtime can inspire Root and his troops after their dismal showing in the second Test at Trent Bridge which saw South Africa level the four-match series at 1-1.
The third Test starts at The Oval on Thursday with the series finale taking place at Old Trafford from August 4.
