Flintoff ready for one-day challenge

England's stand-in captain Andrew Flintoff is hoping England can carry the momentum of their series-levelling final-Test victory over India into the one-day campaign against the same opponents.
The all-rounder, just back from a dash to England to meet his newly-born son for the first time, will lead the tourists in the first of seven limited-overs matches in Delhi.
"It is very satisfying winning cricket matches out here," he told Sky Sports News.
"India play to entertain and come out playing shots - (Virender) Sehwag at the top of the order, coming out swinging.
"They have a lot of experience in the ranks as well."
Even so, England's success in the last match of the three-Test series - in Bombay last week - has given them confidence to try to go one better in the one-dayers.
"The Test series was a great opportunity for some new players to make a start - and the one-dayers should be the same, with the World Cup only 12 months away," Flintoff reasoned.
The big Lancastrian fell foul of the Delhi crowd the last time he played limited-overs cricket there - during England's drawn series four years ago.
But he does not expect to be revisiting that sort of experience.
"It is not something I am anticipating again," he said. It is something that happened - but not something I want to go on about.
"We have seven one-dayers in front of full houses in India - that is something to look forward to."
