Got our first glimpse of Rohit Sharma at Trent Bridge. The Indian pundits I've spoken to reckon they have found the new Tendulkar at last. He's that good. Watch out for him!

MITCH SLOWS UP

Mitchell Johnson (right) has cut down his run-up even more. His speeds are down, too, which is something to keep an eye on ahead of the Ashes.

ENGLAND COPE BEST AFTER A CRISIS

England must have some character in this side. Whenever they have a major setback, like being bowled out for 51 in the first Test in Jamaica and then when they endured a dreadful one-day display in Barbados, they always seem to hit back with a bloody good performance. How about Stuart Broad last night? I just wish we didn't have to have the low before we get the high!

I came off my long run up to criticise Chris Gayle (right) because I want to see him at his best. I have now. He has a responsibility to the game to always give his best...as he did against the Aussies.
