Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin gave fans a taste of what they can expect in their middleweight showdown next month as they took part in an open workout in Los Angeles on Monday.
The pair showcased their skills for fans and media in a ring across the road from the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Undefeated Golovkin will be defending his WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight titles against The Ring middleweight champion Alvarez in Las Vegas on September 16 in a bout that will determine who is the true king of the division.

Alvarez is trying to inflict a first ever career defeat upon Golovkin in their encounter
And the 35-year-old believes the fight is one of the biggest in the sport's history.
'Today is nothing, today we come for the people,' he said after hitting the pads. 'September 16 is the biggest day, more hard, more warm, more amazing.
'Canelo is not a regular guy, you know, he is extra. The last couple of years he has looked very strong. I'm still the longtime champion in the middleweight division.
'He is coming into middleweight division. Who is No 1 in the division? See you September 16.
The last couple of years we destroyed everybody. Right now I don't know who is No 2, who is No 3. I know just Canelo and me.
'This is biggest fight for history, for sport, for people. It's the biggest day for Mexico, Independence Day. September 16. So many people will watch this fight. This is true fight.'

An Mexican icon Canelo, boxing's biggest draw behind Floyd Mayweather, echoed the Kazakhstani's sentiments.
'I know what I have in front of me,' he said following his workout. 'I know Golovkin is a fighter who is dedicated, strong and the most dangerous opponent of my career.
'But I'm ready for him and what is next to come. That's why we prepared and to give the fans a beautiful fight.
'They can expect a great fight. This fight is for you, for all the fans that have been asking for this fight. We know that in a fight it takes two to tango, I'm ready, you know what you're gonna get from me. Let's just hope he brings it as well.'
