Jake Paul tells Conor McGregor to 'lay off the cocaine' in brutal response after UFC star's 'dweeb' jibe

Jake Paul fired back at Conor McGregor in brutal fashion after being called a 'dweeb' by the UFC superstar on Thursday.

At the final press conference ahead of his bout with Mike Perry this weekend, Paul told McGregor to 'lay off the cocaine' and get serious about fighting him when asked about his jibe earlier in the day.

The YouTuber-turned-fighter is set to face Perry in Texas on Saturday night after the former MMA star was drafted in to replace Mike Tyson, who was forced to pulled out of their scheduled contest on medical grounds.

McGregor was quizzed on the fight at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship press conference and said: 'Look at what's happened to Michael Perry, one of our big stars here. "The King of Violence" he titles himself.

'He's had such a rise in the sport. Now he's up against a little dweeb of a thing in a fight this weekend. We're all rooting for him.'

Paul, however, made an unsubstantiated drug claim about his bitter rival accused of his bitter rival of taking class A drugs while suggesting he is afraid of stepping into the ring with him.

'Conor McGregor can say what he wants but he won't fight me either,' he said. 'So once I knock out Mike Perry, Conor McGregor, let's run it... but you won't do it because you know what's gonna happen.

'You know what I did to Nate Diaz, who you went toe-to-toe with. So Conor McGregor, lay off the cocaine, get in the gym and start winning fights... and then maybe we can have a conversation.'

Since ending his UFC career, Perry has ventured into the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, winning all five of his contests to date.

However, Paul is adamant that he will make a mockery of the promotion in Texas this weekend.

'You’re gonna see what I’m gonna do to their best fighter on Saturday night,' he added. 'I’m gonna embarrass their whole entire league.

'This guy has no skill. Those (BKFC fighters) are just brawler, idiot, street fighter dudes, who have no idea what the sweet science is.'

Perry responded: 'He’s a disrespectful punk. Those men and women fight for their families over there (in BKFC). They put it all on the line, and they get in that ring, and they put on shows for the fans.'
