Foxes still keen on Hartson

Peter Taylor is making a second attempt to take John Hartson to Leicester after Coventry laughed off his initial bid of £1million.

The Filbert Street boss, refusing to be put off by the striker's perennial knee problem, said: 'My interest in John is still alive because he's an excellent player.'

Aston Villa's Julian Joachim remains keen on going to Coventry but the deal is being delayed by problems with a move in the opposite direction for Mustapha Hadji.
