Colston's picked up their second title in three days when they beat Epsom College 24-14 to win the Daily Mail Surrey Schools Sevens at Richmond Athletic Ground yesterday.
The Bristol school had beaten Millfield 17-12 to take the West of England title on Sunday. Epsom must have fancied their chances after beating Millfield 33-7 in the semi-finals and led 14-12 just after half time, but opportunistic tries from Nick Scott and George Watkin settled a top quality game.
It was more one-sided in the Plate with St John's, Leatherhead proving far too pacy for Reed's, winning 46-0.
