We're bringing even more excitement and drama to the Daily Mail Cup next season.
For the first time, but only for the semi-finals, a place-kicking competition will be used to determine the winner if tries/goals are level.
Up until now the 'away' team have won if the game is tied.
Other rule changes bring the Daily Mail Cup in line with other competitions managed by the RFU:
• Where a match is completed with uncontested scrums, the final result will stand.
• Team sheets must be submitted for those in the last 32 of each competition.
• Schools or colleges wanting Collegiate School status are required to submit an application form
