"It has been a mixed route for us. We haven't conceded many points, but I would say beating Plymouth College 15-10 was a key moment in our season. They are our local rivals and had beaten us earlier in the season. We beat them with a last-minute try in the third round.
"Having won that, we figured we had every chance of doing something in this competition. Since then we have gone on to pick up some good results, including a 21-0 away win against Westcliffe High School in the quarter-finals."
Whitmore added: "We know very little about Wilmslow High School but we will do our research. To be honest, all preparations will be about focusing on ourselves.
"The boys are very excited about what they have achieved and of course it is every school boy's dream to play at Twickenham - not many people can say they have done that, but they also know there is a hurdle in the way first.
"We have a strong pack and a good back row, and generally the side is very tactically aware, which I think is our strongest point."
