Serena pulls out of Bangalore International

Australian Open champion Serena Williams been forced to pull out of next week's Bangalore International.
The American , who was set to make her first appearance since winning her eighth grand slam last month, is suffering from flu.

"Serena failed to board the flight to Bangalore because of a bad 'flu," tournament organiser Sunder Rajan said.
"We came to know that she did not take the flight only this morning. It is very disappointing. We were all looking forward to her first visit to India."
