Brighton rely on stout defence

Brighton College have proved tough to beat in their impressive run to the quarter-finals of the U15 Cup.
In the last two rounds they've ground out a 6-0 win over Judd and then defended for long spells to close out their 12-7 win over John Fisher.
You need a strong spine of players in key positions to do that and the next
challenge arrives today with the visit of the Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat
School.
Brighton have a crop of recent graduates of the calibre of Wasps and England fly-half Alex King, Newcastle Falcons wing Ollie Phillips and NEC
Harlequins wing Jordan Turner-Hall, who appeared for England U19s last season.
Now, the Under-15 side has four more young players on the books of Quins
in captain Harry Leonard at seven, James Tyas at No 8, scrum-half Adam
Davies and fly-half Craig Holland.
The rest of the team – eight of whom are in the Sussex county squad – have
trained enthusiastically all season under coach John Weeks.
"The boys in the side love the game and they've been spending every minute
they can playing and training. We work with them nearly every day and the
more they've played, the more they've learned," said Weeks.
"The high point of the season so far was when they scored two good tries in
appalling conditions against John Fisher, then had to defend on their own
line for the next half-an-hour.
"They needed to be brave and really dug in. So far/ they haven't been fazed
by anything."
