Ravens swoop into the Super Bowl
The Baltimore Ravens' outstanding defence set up their first trip to the Super Bowl with a 16-3 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
A 96-yard pass from quarterback Trent Dilfer to Shannon Sharpe was the only touchdown of the American Football Conference championship game.
The Ravens, wild card qualifiers in the National Football League playoffs, were formerly the Cleveland Browns and moved to Baltimore five seasons ago.
They will meet the the New York Giants, who beat the Minnesota Vikings 41-0 in the National Football Conference championship game, in the Super Bowl on 28 January in Tampa.
