WHAT ARE THE FEATURES ON VIVO'S APEX PHONE?
Vivo has revealed a new concept phone with the first half-screen, in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone, which was presented at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, is a concept, and there are currently no details about its price or whether or not it will be released on the market.
Some of its features include:
Half-screen fingerprint scanner: Users can unlock their phones with a much larger fingerprint sensor space, instead of a small icon the size of a thumbnail.
Retractable selfie camera: The phone has a pop-up selfie camera at the top of the phone. The 8-megapixel camera takes 0.8 seconds to rise up an retracts after it's been used.
Vibrating earpiece: Instead of being embedded in the bezel, the earpiece vibrates the screen so it can be used as a speaker.
Minimsed bezels: The top and side bezels measure 1.8mm (0.07 inches), although there still remains one larger bezel at the bottom of the phone (4.3mm, 0.17 inches).
