Carly Steven, Director of SEO & Editorial E-commerce

Carly's SEO career started at the Daily Mail in 2007, working with editors to integrate SEO best practices into newsrooms workflows. She spent 3 years in Canada, working across the Postmedia brands before moving into the agency world at digital marketing company Reshift Media in Toronto.

On returning to the UK Carly lead audience development at City AM before moving to The Sun to join the team in London and oversee the expansion of the-sun.com SEO department in NY. She is co-chair of the AOP Audience Development steering group. In 2023 Carly returned to where it all started as Global Head of SEO at Daily Mail.
