Scott Jennings

Scott Jennings is a political commentator and a former deputy director of political affairs and special assistant to President George W Bush. Before working in the White House, Jennings served as executive director of Bush's 2004 re-election campaign in New Mexico. The Kentucky-native is also a former senior advisor to Senator Mitch McConnell. Jennings received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Louisville in 2000. In 2017, he signed on as a CNN political contributor and joined the editorial board of the Los Angeles Times in November 2024. Jennings is also a founding partner of RunSwitch Public Relations, Kentucky's largest PR firm, which was formed in 2012.
