Desperate attempt underway to revive a man who was pulled from the water near rocks amid fears he was drowning

A fisherman has been airlifted to hospital after being pulled from the ocean in Kurnell, in Sydney's south.
Emergency services were called to Voodoo Point near Sir Joseph Banks Drive on Wednesday morning after receiving reports a man was struggling in the water.
Paramedics arrived via NSW Ambulance helicopter and attempted to revive the man at the scene before taking him to hospital.

A police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia emergency responders were performing CPR and it is unclear at this point if the man will survive.
The man, aged in his 40s, had been wearing a life-jacket at the time, police said.
He was airlifted to St George Hospital in serious condition.
Officers from Sutherland Police Area Command attended and have been told the man was rock fishing at the time, however, it is not known how he came to be in the water.
