A young trick-or-treater has been caught on a Maryland home's surveillance camera leaving some of his own candy for other children after he arrived and found the bowl already empty.
The sweet moment has quickly gone viral after the home owner shared the heartwarming deed on Facebook on Thursday night.
The little boy was quickly identified as eight-year-old Jackson Champagne.

He peered into the orange bowl that had been left on a table out front and was momentarily shocked to find it empty.
'All gone,' he could be heard saying.
'There ain't no more candy.'

As his relatives called out his name from the street, Jackson quickly pulled out two handfuls of candy from his own bag and dropped it in the bowl.
'Awww. That was really nice, Jackson,' one of his relatives said after noticing what he was doing.
Leslie Hodges, the homeowner who posted the video, wrote alongside the post: 'Caught this on our Nest camera.... this has got to give hope to everyone that there are still amazing people in this world. What a selfless act from this little guy!'
