A 32-year-old woman has been found dead inside a home in Perth.

The woman's body was found inside a home on May Drive in Nollamara, in the north of the city, on Sunday morning.

Homicide detectives are investigating.

A man known to the woman is helping police with their inquiries, the West Australian reported. 

The woman's family are said to have broken into the home through the roof after failing to get hold of her.

Distraught relatives were seen comforting each other outside the home on Sunday. 

'We are shattered. We are a really close family. She was so loved,' one said.
