Freight train thunders over drunk man after he fell between railway tracks in India - but miraculously survived

This is the heart-stopping moment when a drunk man who fell in between the tracks moments before a heavily-laden goods train passed by.

The man tipped over and fell in between the tracks while crossing the tracks to go from one platform to the other at Nandura railway station in Maharashtra.

At that very instant, a Nagpur-bound goods-train raced down the same track.

This is the shocking moment an Indian man cowers below a hurtling freight train as it blasts through a railway station in Maharashtra. The man tripped over while crossing the tracks

Locals helped the man to his feet who appeared to be drunk but unharmed by his ordeal

The man was lucky enough to fall down before the train raced into the platform. Eyewitnesses claimed the man may have been drunk which may have caused him not to move once he fell over between the rails. 

After the train left the station, people rushed to him to make sure he was alive. They picked him up and helped him onto the platform and handed him to the railway authorities.

The witnesses exclaimed that he was so intoxicated that he was in his own world, and couldn’t even understand what had happened to him just moments ago.
