Counter-terrorism police arrest a man, aged in his 20s, after dawn raids on his home in Brisbane

A 20-year-old man has been arrested during a dramatic counter-terrorism raid on a home in Brisbane's south.
Officers from The Brisbane Joint Counter Terrorism Team swarmed the Kuraby property at about 4am on Saturday and are still on the scene.
While the exact reason for the 20-year-old mans arrest remains unclear, he is currently in custody at the Brisbane city police watch house and is being questioned in relation to terror-related offences.

No charges have been laid yet.
Federal officers are still searching the property and are also speaking to his family.
The AFP said there was no risk to the community and that no further comment would be made while the matter was ongoing.
A statement is expected to be issued later today.
The man's lawyer, Brendan Beavon, told 9NEWS that he has since been able to talk with him.
'I've spoken to my client but I've been provided with absolutely no evidence at this stage, so I can't really comment,' he said.
