A missing man has been found after spending three days in the woods when his car crashed off the side of a forest road.
George Gower's new white Mazda SUV was found overturned in the 9200 block of Carberry Creek Road in Jacksonville, Oregon, on Saturday morning.
But the 69-year-old, of Brookings, was nowhere to be seen and his medication was left behind in the vehicle. He reportedly has displayed symptoms of dementia.
Investigators believe he had been en route from Brookings to Medford on Friday when the vehicle crashed.
Jackson County Sheriff's Office search and rescue teams began combing the area to locate the missing man.
He was found alive on Monday afternoon after a member of the public reported seeing a man matching his description several miles from where the car crashed.

'We are pleased to report that George Gower was found alive this afternoon after spending three nights in the elements,' a statement from the sheriff's office said.

An air ambulance took Gower to Providence Medford Medical Center for evaluation. His condition was not immediately known.
Deputies believe Gower likely took Highway 238 from Grants Pass and turned onto Thompson Creek Road before getting lost.
They received a tip from a resident on Thompson Creek Road that Gower stopped and asked for directions at 10.30pm on Friday.
