Red Nose Day USA returns for its fourth year and will see numerous celebrities such as Nikki Bella, Ed Sheeran and Kelly Clarkson joining in the fun to raise money for charitable causes in America and around the world.
Victoria Beckham is also joining in on the charitable fun, designing a limited edition Red Nose Day t-shirt featuring all of the Spice Girls. The likes of Zoe Saldana and Rachel McAdams have been seen wearing the tee.

When is Red Nose Day 2018?
Red Nose Day 2018 in the US is on Thursday May 24, 2018.
What is Red Nose Day USA?
Red Nose Day USA is the annual fundraising campaign that seeks to put an end to child poverty in the US, as well as provide aid to the poorest communities in the world.
The fundraiser day is run by Comic Relief, a non-profit organisation, that is based on the Comic Relief model in the United Kingdom.
Comic Relief US was founded in 1986 by comedy writer By Zmuda and the charity ran annual fundraiser events every year until 1996. It returned occasionally during the aughts.
Red Nose Day USA started in 2015, with the mission to end child poverty by investing money in programs across all 50 states.
Money is raised through sales of novelty wearable red noses that cost $1 each. Half the price covers the production of the red nose, while the other goes to the charitable causes.
In the UK, Red Nose Day fundraisers have raised over $1 billion since it started in 1988.
Red Nose Day 2018 events
Red Nose Day 2018 will mark the day with a range of special shows on NBC.
At 8/7c there will be a special Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day that will see everyone from Derek Hough to Nikki Bella participate.
That will be followed by Jane Lynch’s Hollywood Game Night before finishing with the Red Nose Day Special, hosted by Chris Hardwick.
There is also a Twitter #GoNosetoNose challenge that has seen the likes of Bill Gates and his wife Melinda take part.
Everyone from Victoria Beckham, Paul Rudd, Sean Hayes and Kelly Clarkson will also be taking part in Red Nose Day 2018 events.
In the evening, iconic buildings such as the Empire State Building in New York, Bank of America Plaza in Dallas, Texas and the Great Wheel in Seattle will light up red to mark Red Nose Day 2018.
Walgreens Red Nose Day 2018
Walgreens is the exclusive retailer of the Red Noses for the fourth year, and this year has launched a new ‘Sparkle Red Nose’.
‘By focusing our efforts on initiatives like Red Nose Day, we create a unique and powerful opportunity for our customers and the communities we serve to come together to help make an impact on a worthwhile cause like child poverty,’ said Walgreens president, Alex Gourlay.
‘Every One Counts means that a $1 donation can help provide nutritious food for a child or school supplies for a student.
Where does money raised on Red Nose Day 2018 go?
The money raised by Red Nose Day goes to partner charities including Boys & Girls Clubs of America; charity: water; Children’s Health Fund; Covenant House; Feeding America; Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance; UnidosUS; Save the Children and The Global Fund.
How much money was raised by Red Nose Day USA?
Since Red Nose Day USA started, the charity says it has raised over $100 million with 50 per cent of the money going to US causes, and the other 50 per cent going to Latin America, Asia and Africa.
According to the Red Nose Day website, the fundraiser has helped eight million children, with nearly a million of those receiving educational services and 6.79 million getting essential medical services.
Red Nose Day also tackles child homelessness and says part of the money has helped nearly 60,000 homeless teens in the US.
