A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbing his housemate and bashing him with a kettle.
Police were called to the home in Auburn in Sydney's west at about 7.30pm on Thursday, after an alleged brawl between the two men.
Officers from Auburn Police Area Command responded to the call and established a crime scene.

It is alleged the 55-year-old man struck the 46-year-old man in the head with a kettle and stabbed him in the hand with a knife.
The 46-year-old man was taken to hospital with hand and head laceration where he remains in a stable condition.

The 55-year-old was arrested and taken to hospital before he was charged with two counts of reckless wounding and armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
He was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
