Driver 'with cloudy windscreen' cuts a corner and sends cyclist FLYING in dramatic helmet-cam footage

This shocking footage shows the moment a driver cuts the corner of a junction and knocks a cyclist off his bike before claiming his 'windscreen wasn't clearing up'.
Simon Wakefield was riding his bike in Alfreton, Derbyshire when a motorist cutting a corner hit him and made him fall off his bike.
The motorist stopped after crashing into Mr Wakefield and helped him pick up his bike before claiming he didn't see him because his windscreen wasnt' clearing up.
Mr Wakefield claims that the driver left the incident quickly without leaving his details after checking he was alright.

Wakefield had a sore knee and the gears on his bike were damaged – which he didn’t realise at first.
He posted the video online with the caption: 'Riding my bike up to the junction when some idiot cuts the corner and hits me head on.

'His excuse was that his device in his car that clears his window screen wasn't working have you ever heard anything like it.
'Anyway bike was ok but my knee started to hurt later that day.'
He reported the incident to police and gave them the footage.
