Voeltz was in his own car at the time and Gallegos' car was used to block Voeltz from moving.
Gallegos then allegedly exited his car while holding a DeWalt hand drill. He walked up to Voeltz, sitting in the driver's seat, and confronted him about the fact that they were trying to rent the same home.
During the argument, Gallegos was said to have drilled holes into the back tires of Voeltz's car. He also allegedly smashed the driver's seat window and tried to assault Voeltz with the drill.
Gallegos was arrested by the Layton Police Department and booked into jail on a $5,000 bond, according to KUTV.
