A man in central China has risked his life to save his mother from a blazing van.
It's reported that his van burst into flames when a fully-filled gas cylinder exploded inside the vehicle.
The man's hair was caught on fire two times as he was trying to rescue his mother. He sustained injuries on his face, but his mother was unharm, according to reports.

Surveillance camera footage captured the moment the van caught on fire all of sudden.
The driver told Pear the blast occurred when he started the engine.
His mother was trapped in the car as the fire engulfed his vehicle all of sudden. The van was parked on the street of Xinxiang, Henan Province on December 8.
The driver rushed to the back of the car, while his hair was on fire, and opened the cover to drag his mother out.
Firefighters arrived the scene shortly and put out the fire.
Xinxiang policeman told Pear that there was a fully-filled gas cylinder in the car and it could have caused explosion potentially.
