Woman, 41, charged with murder after her husband, 54, was found stabbed in the chest

A woman has been charged with murdering her husband by stabbing him in the chest at a home south of Brisbane.
Police were called to a home on Melnik Drive at Loganlea, south of Brisbane, after reports of a violent argument just before 9.30pm on Thursday.
They found the 54-year-old man with a wound to his chest and he died at the scene despite paramedics' efforts to revive him.

There were children in the house at the time of the incident, according to the Today show.
The 41-year-old woman has been charged with one count of murder and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday.
Police could not say if anyone else was at home with the attack occurred.
Detectives will continue combing the property on Friday.
