Any owner knows that dogs can get up to some very cheeky antics - especially when it comes to food.

And this amusing video shows a woman rescuing her pet after she got stuck in a rubbish bin when looking for a morsel.

The clip, shot on October 8 at Studland beach in Dorset, shows Rosie the 'food-obsessed' chocolate Labrador still holding onto a banana peel as she is pulled out of the bin.

The video begins with Rosie stuck head first in the rubbish bin as her bewildered owners look on.

As she wriggles her legs, the owners laugh and say: 'Yep she's stuck.'

Eventually, Rosie is lifted up by her collar but not before her owner says: 'You stupid dog.'

The 24-second clip ends with the pet munching on her fruit as her owner says: 'All for a banana!'
