Her husband has been accused of stealing Conservative policies, but it was Sarah Brown who yesterday drew on the Opposition for fashion inspiration.
The eye-catching yellow coat she wore to the State Opening of Parliament was almost identical to one worn by Tory leader David Cameron's wife Samantha at last year's Conservative conference in Bournemouth.

Mrs Brown's came from Marks & Spencer and cost £75 while Mrs Cameron's was bought from Topshop for £70 a year ago.
The coat, along with accompanying black skirt, prompted one Tory MP to dub the PM's wife "Mrs Magpie".
But a senior Tory insider was a little more diplomatic, saying: "I am sure Sam will be very flattered."
