Two teenagers were found drunk in the car of a Florida middle school history teacher.
David Michael Stokes, 45, from Ramblewood Middle School in Coral Springs, has been accused of two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and has been reassigned from his post in the classroom.
The teacher allegedly picked up the teenagers from their homes without their parents' knowing about it.
He then gave them alcohol as well as cough drops according to the Sun Sentinel.
'Both juveniles were visibly intoxicated with slurred speech and were unbalanced on their feet,' a report said.
Stokes was arrested near the Pompano Beach pier in a Honda Accord at about 2:50 a.m. Friday in a closed park, the report said.

He was arrested for trespassing and faces two misdemeanor charges for supplying alcohol to minors.
One of the teens had also taken 24 cough drops, bought by Stokes, to enhance intoxication, the report said.
The police report did not state if the teens were boys or girls.
Each charge carries a sentence of one year in jail.
