Shocking footage has emerged of a man being hit on the head by a massive tree branch as he tried to cut it free from overhead power lines.
The video shot in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania, shows the man, wearing safety clothing including a helmet, attempting to saw through the branch that was tangled in the wires.
He manages to cut through the huge tree limb, but one half bounces off the lines and smacks down onto his head.
He is knocked to the ground and his helmet comes off but he gets up and walks away, touching his head.
