- A man believed to be in his 40s has died after collapsing on a Jetstar Flight
- Flight JQ 836 was diverted to Mackay Airport and met by paramedics
- Police confirmed there were no 'suspicious circumstances' regarding the death
A man in his 40s has died after collapsing on a Jetstar flight from Brisbane to the Whitsundays.
Flight JQ 836 was expected to arrive at Whitsunday Coast Airport around 1.55pm Tuesday but was diverted to Mackay.
Queensland Ambulance and Emergency Services were called to airport around 1.20pm, but the man could not be saved.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson told Sunshine Coast Daily that there were no 'suspicious circumstances'.
Jetstar offered alternative transport to Proserpine or overnight accommodation for the other travellers.
