Nowadays, the video game experience almost completely submerges players in a digital world.

And in a hilarious short video posted on Sunday, a gamer playing on the PlayStation Virtual Reality Headset Core System loses his cool when he is spooked out of his chair.

In the short clip, the man can be seen sitting in a chair pulling on the controller handles as if he were shooting a weapon.

But he reacts too quickly, and falls out of his chair with one of the audience members screaming 'Oh my god!'
