A pilot has been forced to turn back to Perth an hour into a Qantas flight to Brisbane after a disorderly passenger 'caused a disturbance'.
A spokeswoman for the airline said the 38-year-old man repeatedly failed to follow crew instructions on overnight flight QF652.
The passenger was arrested by Australian Federal Police on arrival and the flight was delayed by about three hours, arriving in Brisbane at 8:30am on Wednesday.
He is expected to be charged with offences including assaulting aircrew, obstructing police and causing harm to a commonwealth officer.

The incident comes just a week after an allegedly drunk man was handcuffed and carried off a flight by his arms and legs by six security guards.
The passenger boarded a QF24 flight from Bangkok to Sydney when he allegedly got into an argument with a Qantas crew member.

'An intoxicated and disruptive passenger repeatedly failed to follow crew directions shortly after boarding,' Qantas said at the time.
Video footage showed passengers cheering as the man was carried off the plane by security guards.
