Terrifying footage shows a thrill-seeker dangling off a crane as he performs a series of chin-ups - while more than 300ft in the air.

Khalid Tenni, 22, was filmed doing a monkey bars move along the crane in Sala, Morocco, before doing a routine more typically seen in the gym.

The video also shows the heart-stopping moment the daredevil hangs upside down from the crane using just his feet.

Mr Tenni, who is a professional parkour artist, later admitted that he had to overcome his fears in order to pull off the routine. 

Explaining his decision to do the stunt, he said: 'When I saw a series of films about adventure and risk, I decided to try to find out how deadly that feeling is.'

'The feeling I have is a mix of force and fear, I think it's the same feeling as how spider man feels.

'I like to be different and tell people that nothing is impossible, I had to overcome my fears to do this.'

He also urged people not to copy him unless they know exactly what they're doing.

'This is my sport, so don't worry because I'm a professional and don't try to do this without preparation.

'It's important that people don't try to imitate me, because this activity is so dangerous.'
