Everyone’s favourite ‘brick phone’ Nokia is making a comeback in Australia – and it’s set to give competitors a run for their money.
The nostalgic brand, which rose to fame as the first mobile phone giant, is offering three new androids for under $400, two of which boast an 8-core processor.
The new Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will launch in Sydney next month, in a move that is set to shake up the market.

The legendary handsets have been revamped by Finnish start-up HMD Global after they bought the company from Microsoft last year.
The 4G LTE aluminium phones come with laminated damage-protected display and will be available in matte black or silver.
The Nokia 6, which carries a $399 price tag, was cleared off the shelves in minutes when it launched in China through a 24-hour flash sale.
It features a 5.5 inch 1080 display, a 16-mega pixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera, and a smart audio amplifier with dual speakers.
The mid-range handset, Nokia 5, will go for $329 and boasts a 5.2-inch display, wide-angle front camera.
And he budget model, Nokia 3, goes for just $249 with a 5-inch display and 8-megapixel autofocus camera with wide aperture front and back.
There is one crushing blow for old enthusiasts: A Nokia Spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the new models will not come fitted with the classic game snake.
