Dramatic footage has captured the moment a group of elephants worked together to tear down a wall and escape.

The three wild elephants had strayed into a popular herbal and good park in Assam, India before workers began to give chase. 

The frightened staff began throwing stones and chasing the elephants away with batons.

Panicked, the three elephants head towards a boundary wall which they tear down and escape.

The shocked staff are heard becoming increasingly louder as the elephants make quick work in destroying the wall. 

The incident occurred in the morning of June 18, when a herd of tuskers entered Patanjali Herbal and Food Park in Sonitpur.

The three elephants then make their escape, after they wandered into the park in the search of food

Workers at the park were keen to scare the elephants off after they destroyed crops and killed two people

Before targeting the food park, the herd had wandered from a nearby wildlife sanctuary into a village in search of food.
