'Crime against nature': Michigan child sex offender, 37, is accused of 'abominable two-year relationship with a DOG'

A convicted sex offender has been accused of having sexual relations with a dog over a two-year period. 

Michael Czeiszperger, 37, was arraigned on Tuesday on one count of sodomy and one count of sodomy by a sexually delinquent person.

According to the arrest warrant, Czeiszperger carried out 'the abominable and detestable crime against nature with a dog' from around November 2014 to September 2016.

Czeiszperger's previous conviction of having sex with a minor labels him a 'sexually delinquent person' and means he could possible face life imprisonment, the Michigan News reported.  

The sodomy is alleged to have taken place at his home in Chesaning Township.

Czeiszperger's attorney, John Melton, said his client voluntarily took and passed a lie detector test regarding the accusations against him.

The test was administered on Monday by a private company, Mr Melton said.

Mr Melton said he was confident the case will get dropped. 

In 2002, Czeiszperger pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and no contest to another count, according to court records.
