A West Australian woman has slammed Woolworth's in a Facebook post after discovering maggots wriggling inside her pistachio nuts purchased from the store earlier.
Following the unpleasant encounter, Eliesha Kadie Lazenby posted a 2.31-minute video on Woolworth's Facebook page on Tuesday to warn others of her discovery.
'I am a lover of pistachios you stock, but now my feelings towards them will never be the same.
'How can I ever enjoy them again after finding this and more likely digesting a few of his friends ( in reference to the maggots).'

While on the video Ms Lazenby did not mince her words and vowed never to buy the same packet of nuts from the store again.
'I am never buying this again. There was a maggot in my pistachio.
'I have been eating maggots all f***ing day.
'And I have paid $6.99 to eat maggots.
'I feel betrayed, and I don't know how I can eat pistachios again, and I would never be able to eat you (pistachios) again.

In a video posted on Woolworth's Facebook page Ms Lazenby shows proof of her discovery
Ms Lazenby told Daily Mail Australia that she had been eating pistachios from the Woolworth's select brand for 'years' before making the grim discovery on Tuesday.
'I purchased the packet in Secret Harbour in West Australia and took the shell and ate it; it tasted sour and disgusting.
'There were a couple of bugs but I kept one bug in the box to give to Woolworth's later,' she said.
Ms Lazenby added the giant retailer had already been in touch with her since the post was made public and that she was planning to speak to them later today.
Meanwhile, Woolworth's in a Facebook reply said they were extremely concerned with Ms Lazenby discovery and had vowed to get to the bottom of the matter.
'We take incidents like this very seriously.
'For your awareness, this has been escalated for immediate investigation.
Daily Mail Australia had contacted Woolworth's for comments, but a spokesperson said that it would not be commenting further on the matter.
